During the 'Options Week', I plan to study the OpenLearn free course 'Writing what you know'. I've studied it before, but I'm going to study it more thoroughly this time.
I had originally hoped to study for a degree in 'Creative Writing', but I think that there may be too much analyzing poetry and other texts (Which I find extremely stressful and difficult), so first, (depending on my result for TMA02) I'd like to study an Open Foundation in Creative Writing with the Open College of the Arts (if I can get funded) and see how I cope with that.
In October, after completing the 'Y031 Arts and language access module' I plan to study the Open University short course ' AXS004 a study of documentary film' as I want to learn more about writing for documentary ('The creative treatment of actuality' - 'Grierson’s definition of documentary filmmaking').
